[Biturbos4] scraping, squeeling noises

Thanks Keman and Mike for the summary of tools. On another topic - Last
night coming home from work scraping and squeeling noises from the right
front were heard. Is this what happens when the brake pads are about
shot? Or should I be looking for a rock stuck in there somewhere?

I did get a lot of mud under the car a couple weeks ago in SW Colorado
on my way to Phoenix, but the noises just started yesterday. I actually
got stuck and was towed out backwards. I'm still seeing dry mud under
my baby every time I look even though I've spent a lot of quarters at
the car wash. Cheers.
