So a follow up on the timing belt fiasco.  Thanks to the help from many, mostly Keman on the list, I got my S4 all back together.  I had to take it all the way back apart, follow his procedure, rent the Audi Special tools, and then put it back together carefully.

All in all, it wouldn't be a bad job, but the Audi Special tools (cam cog holder and crankshaft locker) are essential to this.  I made a makeshift cam bar, but it didn't do the trick well enough.

Again, just a HUGE thank you for the help.  The car runs great, and the snub mount is an improvement (the only upgrade, the rest was maintenance).
