He got it through an Audi dealer. BTW, it seems not all dealers
offer the factory plan. Most dealers offer extended warranty coverage
of some sort, some are aftermarket. My friend said that he called
around to the various Audi dealers in the San Francisco bay area and
only one had the factory plan at the time. That was many months ago,
so things might have changed now.
