No, I have no issues, but with an engineering background, it's been a  
nagging "what if" question for a long time (well, since 1999).  I've  just not found 
anyone yet who's actually DONE this or even really  studied it.  After all, 
your point is valid.  It's about $4K  in parts, money I personally put towards 
my Z06.
 
Anyhow, somewhere Stasis or Audi or Quaiffe or ??? has done an engineering  
study or even a mule.  I'd help publish the SAE paper on the results!   =)
