Aiiiieee! Turbos.
I dropped 'er off at the dealer this morning and asked them to look into
the leaky-looking PCV system. Just got a call from the service advisor and
they've decided that the problem is really the turbos. I had a hard time
getting a clear explanation from him about exactly what they found that
makes them think this, but...
As the adivsor was quick to point out, replacement will be covered by the
Audi Assured CPO warrantee, so I'm assuming their not doing this
replacement just to make a buck and, in fact, there really is a problem
with the turbos.
Other than the blue smoke on cold start, there's been no other indication
that the turbos have been in decline.
Sigh.
Well, I got 55k out of 'em :P.
