That sounds extremely familiar to me too.  If I park
it with wet rotors, the pads stick by morning. 
Wintertime chemicals exacerbate this greatly.  It can
make a tremendous pop or ping when they let go. 
Parking without the e-brake seems to avoid this
symptom.
