I don't know about your area, but in my area LiDar is
extremely popular among the law enforcement officers
(maybe 50% of my detections?).  The thing about a
laser detector (like our V1's) is it only tells you
that you've been had ... if you were speeding.

Have you given any thought to a laser jammer too?  I
think Escort has a model (SR7) that provides remote
sensors and an upsell to the SR7 Plus that provides
all that and laser jamming too.  Not sure if they are
the "best".  I've heard good things about Lidatek's
laser jammer, but I'm pretty sure it does not provide
radar detection. Oddly, I do not see the SR7 on
Escort's website even though I find it for sale on a
number of sites. FWIW.
