I have heard of far fewer problems with allroad turbos, but have no
first hand experience.

I have also heard that the larger engine compartment results in lower
heat soak.

I do have first hand experience with S4 turbos - I just sold mine with
78k and my turbos were as quite the day I sold it as the day I bought
it. maybe they were totally broken :-) Not. Warm it up before
flogging. Cool down after running. use mobil1. Rinse and repeat.

I bought an S6, so you know my answer to your last question.
