[Biturbos4] Radiator fan replacement

Frank (and biturbo list),
    After doing more research and talking to my mechanic about it, I determined that it was the fan clutch the is causing the fan to be making so much noise.  We tried to slow down the fan while it was running, and it wouldn't happen.  I guess the oil inside has a viscosity that makes it turn more when hot and less or not at all when cold. It might be the bearing too, but it's just as easy to replace the whole unit.  I scored a fan and fan clutch from Mike (piggie on AW), and got it here.  I haven't taken it apart just yet; was trying to find a way to replace it without taking off the front of the car, but I don't think there is a way.

Might it be a bearing gone rather than the clutch?

If so you will have to repair it to allow the belt to
be used
