[Biturbos4] Clutch slave

It definitively is odd that is has gone out. I would suspect is has failed from contaminated fliud, proor intsallation or possibly faulty seals. I would expect an Audi slave to last 120k/8years at least.
 
My 2001 has 95k so far and no problems. I do most likely need to flush the fluid.
 
I have not seen much activity on the S4 forums on this topic either, so I would not suspect it's failure is common place.
