Nah, you don't need to remove the "whole dash".  Only the instrument
cluster (the part just ahead of the steering wheel with all the gauges
and warning lights).  To me, "whole dash" implies the whole width
including the vents, center console and glove compartment, etc; which
is clearly not necessary.

j y has described the procedure in a separate email and I won't belabor
the point.
