[Biturbos4] Audi Ash tray/CD removal issue.

All this information on removing the radio may be very timely for me since
I've started having problems with mine. Last week the radio wouldn't come
on at all. I checked the fuse and it looked ok, but I swapped it with the
sunroof fuse (also 20A) anyway, and that seemed to solve the problem.
However, it stopped again a couple of days later, so this time I tweaked the
prongs on the fuse a little, put it back in, and the radio works again. But
now the CDC won't work. I got it to come on briefly today, but only for
about 10 seconds before it went off again. The in-dash CD works fine. Any
ideas on what the problem might be?

Thanks,

Bob Stephenson

These are the tools I refer to at crutchfield for removing the radio:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mU6ioTKN3XD/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=120869001&id
=morephotos&a=&s=0&cc=01&g=754

I don't expect them to be useful for much else.

I've not tried removing the cup holder. I will have a look at the manual
and see if it says anything.
