[Biturbos4] Control arms going bad?

I have a '99 S4 with 160k miles, I had the cambelt
done by Audi in Germany last Christmas and both arms
were changed at no cost (but they didn't do an
alignment)

Mine does have full history. PO also reported another
free recall which did include some new components and
an alignment but i have no details or paperwork
