At the pet store, there exists a product known as a "Scat Mat" .. you plug
it into the wall and lay it wherever you don't want pets to be. They come in
varying sizes. Just lay it on the hood of the car and wait till you see what
happens when the cat jumps onto it. BZZZZZTTT!
It's harmless, mostly, but count on that cat never visiting the hood of your
car again.
Of course, if you ran it off 220 volts instead of 110 .. it might be a
little less than harmless. :P But I'm not making suggestions or anything.

Subject: [Biturbos4] tyres & cats
: Guys
:
: Two questions.....
:
: Car is due new tyres....'99 avant everything stock and
: used in the UK, currently has Avon ZZ3, any
: suggestions?
:
: One of the local cats has developed the habit of
: coating its feet with mud and then having a dance
: party on the bonnet (hood). I did think of uprating
: the gas strut and then using a weight sensor to
: release the bonnet catch and catapult the cat into
: passing traffic but ideally what I need is a paint
: friendly liquid that I can spray on to discourage (or
: preferably kill) the cat. Any suggestions?
:
: Cheers
