I agree on that, I've had it happen in the past too especially on
particularly smooth pavement.
You were probably feeling one of the rear tires locking up to try and
counter understeer. If it felt like the car was being "dragged down" for a
moment even after the turn straightened out, this was definitely the
traction control interfering. Highly annoying ...
