To be honest, I don't remember if our daughter was already 1 year old. I do
remember that our pediatrician advised us to face her forward as soon as we
found an acceptable seat (minimum height/weight). I guess the best thing to do
is consult with your pediatrician first...
Our original reason for facing forward ASAP was because she was quite often
unhappy and the resultant screams, loud enough to make your ears ring, were very
distracting to the driver and extremely painful to people in the car. 8-0 Once
she faced forward, things were much better...
