My car has a 99 build date, but was sold as 2000. I suppose that would
match your 99 close enough. When i took the rear bearings off the car,
they did not have an audi part number, though they were the orignal units.
So far as I know, Audi uses SKF bearings in the rear. I replaced with the
same unit, and will expect them to die 70K miles later, just like the
original ones died at about 70K. One after the other, within 3K miles.
At least that shows you that they were made the same way, or i put just as
much pressure on the on the right rear as the left.
So anyway, that all may seem useless to you. If your intention is to
purchase and replace the existing units, try this:
Front Kit: 8D0598625A
Rear Kit: 4B0498625A
How to:
Replace the fronts.

Replace the rears.

Note that the S4 does not use the snap rings included with the kit. Do
not re-use the bolt. Use the new one that comes with the kit. Don't
bother with an impact gun on the wheel. the long breaker bar plan works
much better.
