My '01.5 S4 threw its first code today @ 44.5K miles...
( awww... ) G62 Sensor trouble. Looks like i got off the hook
pretty easily. VAG-COM output at the bottom of the email.

From what i have read on the net, this is a fairly common problem
(especially w/ the non-green versions of the sensor). About $10 in
parts and probably 30-45 mins of time after the engine has completely
cooled.

Has anyone replaced theirs? Thought i would ask before i attempt
it this weekend, in case there was something i need to watch out for.

Thanks..

ps, already checked the connection to the sensor.. seemed solid and
clean.
