[Biturbos4] Synthetic oil - frequency of changes

I use synthetic and change it every 5,000 miles. I don't track the car
and tend to go pretty easy on the car (usually), thus I feel 5,000 is an
adequate interval.

I use Mobil 1 and change it every 3000 miles. I admit... it's
overkill...
but I view it as cheap insurance. My Corvette Z06 gets oil changed
before every track event (due to high oil temps), but my personal rules:
Forced induction engines (or super high revving engines), every 3000
miles.
Normally aspirated, every 5000 miles.
It works for me. One of the cars I work on is a 2001 or 2002 Passat
(V6, AWD... the Audi A6 driveline). It currently has a really strong
engine...
even after 235,000 miles.
