Andy,

I've seen the RS6 on a dyno as compared to a stage 3 B5 S4, and the engine
is nothing short of impressive. It was nearly an overlay of the previous
runs, every single time, whereas the B5 S4s definitely had some variation.

The RS6 is an amazingly fast pig, a larger pig than the S4. I hope you
enjoy it!

I've been a lurker for the last 12 months and I wasn't too vocal
before that, so I'm sure no-one will miss me! I actually sold my S4
about 12 months ago and bought an RS6 instead! I still have the RS6
(even though I had it stolen in a carjacking incident about a month
after buying it! Tracker found it unharmed 30 minutes later).

The RS6 is faster, another league faster, but somehow it's not as
sharp and nimble. The RS6 has thunder under the bonnet - potent and
powerful, but kinda round-edged. I'm not so sure as the S4 actually
put a bigger smile on my face. Perhaps it's the manual vs auto thing.
If I could have kept both I certainly would have done. I did actually
have the pair for about a month, it was nice to be able to choose
between them each morning!

Andy
