Auto Zone rents one for a $40.00 deposit, you get the money back when
you bring the tool back in working condition. I've used it before and
it works great!!

Assuming that you're talking about pads and rotors, it's pretty
straightforward. Be
careful with the connectors for the brake pad warning indicator. In my
experience they
are very brittle. For the rears, you'll need some kind of tool for the
push-while-turning
process for retracting the pistons.
Good luck,
John

Hi all, it's been a while for me since my last post, but my 5kT is on
blocks
and I don't know when I'll get the time to put humpty back together
again.
So to tide me over, I just bought a new to me '02 S4. I'm still hunting
for
a Bentley for this thing... These cars have come a long way from '85;
the
only thing I hope to be able to do on it myself is simple stuff like
brakes.
Any advice for doing a brake job on all 4 corners? Is it as easy as the
old
5kT's? Any special tools I'll need?
TIA.
-Ameer
