Some road debris may have cut it open...
Not sure if the boots are available seperately, I suspect not.

The tie rod end was ~2 yrs old - only the lower control arms were replaced
about 90 days ago...
Still unacceptable life time, tho.
Anybody know if the boots can be replaced separately?
