Hoep this is OK.  Totally non-Audi, but this list has some oddball expertise. And since we're talking a broken, ahrd to fix device, its really pretty much on topic, eh?

I have a kenmore dehumidifier.  It runs, but does nto dehumidify. I expect it needs a charge. Problem is, i dont see how.  I see no valve. It is an R22 unit.

I have pics of the inside if anyone wants to see them. any tricks or BTDT from HVAC gurus?
