[Biturbos4] Rear wheel bearings ... again

Lots of choices in the Boston area. I'm sure you'll get some hits.

You got it- the 150HP 1996 1.8T A4 has the same (indentical) rear wheel
bearings. Add in larger, wider, stickier tires.... lowered suspensions,
etc.... and you have a LOT of extra force there. 30K is NOT that uncommon.
On my personal S4, I've had 3 sets of rear wheel bearings in 70K miles... so
by 90K will probably need another set. =)

Even for a stock, mildly driven S4, 50-60K is about max for them, maybe less
for an Avant with the extra 200 lbs. of mass in the rear. If it's
modified... 30K isn't surprising.

Hit the main list or come up to Winter Driving School in NH this weekend and
you'll get pleanty of mechanic advice. =)
