[Biturbos4] ] Unexpected and unwarranted ESP Activity - 2001.5S4

That reminds me, I did buy a can of electrical parts cleaner, remove the
MAF, and clean it and then let dry out for a few hours. So maybe the
air filter helped, maybe cleaning the MAF helped, or maybe a combination
of both.

Thanks Scott.. Joel mentioned MAF, and you are talking
around the same area also. I will take a look at the air clener, and
will be embarassed if it is really dirty. That reminds me when I bought
my 96 Grand Cherokee in 1998, I found a mouse had made its home in the
air filter. Maybe it is back.

nasty.
Put a new K&N in un-oiled and it hasn't done it since, but when
I know
I'm going to put the accelerator on the floor, I turn off ESP as
	preventative measure anyway.

	Al,

The only times I have heard something like this happening was
when the
	MAF was failing.

Did you check with vagcom for codes? Was it cold outside? What
are your
mods? Did the CEL flash too?
