[Biturbos4] Old problem still haunting me

Unfortunately our cars are high tech and have drive-by-wire. Unless the
MTM chip has removed Audi's "safety" feature, doing a brake-stand won't
speed up your launch... it will slow it down. Audi has programed, IMHO,
an over reactive routine that won't allow brake & throttle application.
My first experience with it almost resulted in a serious accident with a
30 mph speed differential, on the freeway, with the family in the car.
:-/ If I stop at an intersection and want to go immediately, I almost
always get lag. A California rolling stop helps some but isn't good for
the driving record. I believe the "safety" routine, wants to see a
minimum [brake] off time. Left foot braking aggravates the problem too.
The best way I've found to get fast off the line response is to release
the brake and wait almost a second, before mashing the throttle. Short
of replacing the electronic control with a throttle cable (and doing
major ECU reprogramming) I doubt there is a solution... :-(

The car has a chip from MTM (stage1) and although the performance gain overall was significant, this has had no effect on the lazy response off the line. I prefer not to use the brakes and hold the throttle down, abusing the tranny to get a quick launch and am wondering if anyone has a solution to get this car to respond immediately to full throttle.
