for custom, i've had work done in colorado, autosportwerks.

not sure if they have the same techs these days or not. that was years 
ago.... my car still runs :)

APR does stuff, yes you can call them. i have their chip. basics work ok, 
some of the gimick stuff never worked for me, but i don't care.

AWE is in PA.  several have good things to say. I have some of their 
parts, but never been there.

Stratmosphere is in Rochester, NY. they claim to do workwith tuning, and 
sell parts such as the famed milltek exhaust.
