[Biturbos4] Bose speakers

Hi all,

One of the speakers in my B5 S4 has gone crackly, and I'm wondering what 
my options are. Audi have quoted me £80 for a new one, which isn't too 
bad, but I wonder if some of the others won't follow in short order, 
which could get pricey quickly. Bose UK told me I'd have to talk to 
Audi. Rumour on the internet is that Bose US will do a new one for about 
$40, but they won't talk to me with my UK phone number.

I could try replacing the speaker with something that works with the 
amp, I think it's a weird 2 ohm impedance job, so that's not trivial, 
and then I've got all the hassle of trying to make it fit physically.

I was vaguely wondering about the possibility of fixing the old speaker. 
The problem seems to be that the cone isn't free to move in and out - it 
rubs on something at the back. Anyone have any experience with fixing 
this sort of issue? Huw, I'm looking at you especially :)
