My '01 S4 is about to pass a major landmark tomorrow.  0-60k miles in almost
11 years..

Almost 11 years and just about to cross 60k miles. Had some great times
together. Drifting In the Boston winters, bachelor road-trip, wedding get
away vehicle (lavender everywhere), beer runs to Austin, etc. Hope the next
60k are just as fun.

Still love my S4, and will continue to drive it for another 10 years.

Gee and a full tank of gas !!!

Wow, only 60K.  Sold my 2001 Audi S4 last October with only 72k.  Loved that
car.

Had my heart set on a 2008 V8 S4.   I tried it and was disappointed.   It
might be a little faster than the twin turbo if pushed. However, like the
BMW M3, you have to work at it to make it go.

  Bought a BMW leftover 2008 135i.  Big mistake.  The car was out of control
with the automatic that did things.. like downshifting to third at 65 mph
unexpectedly.  No traction especially compared to the S4.  Unloaded that car
and bought  2008 BMW 335i with 6 speed.  It is fast, and responds with a lot
of torgue like the 2001 Audi.  But so far, the 2001 Audi was the best car I
ever owned overall.

 Enjoy it..  I'm sure you have changed the timing belt by now
