I'd be surprised if a U.S.-spec car has the cluster calibrated in Imperial
gallons.
Depending on use, I sometimes get mileage in that range, calulated from
figures on the pump.
I suppose the odo could be optimistic...

I'm talking about whatever the instrument cluster tells me, which is
presumably imperial gallons, with a fudge factor to make me think I'm
not burning money as quickly as I am...
