I think I got mine around the same time. She was my first new car
and is in my wedding getaway photos. will always hold a special
place in my car history.
I just had mine in to change the alternator and did some preemptive
service. Water pump, belts, check the timing belt, etc. so far the
only big issue was the alternator.
I decided to keep everything is stock except the rotors which are now
slotted to prevent the notorious fade with the stock ones.
No other car drives like a b5 s4 and I may keep her for the long haul.
