[Biturbos4] Strange loss of coolant

Ti,

Where did it leak from, by that I mean, was it towards the front of the
engine? The back? On the left, right? Figuring where, below the engine, the
leak is will go along ways to figuring this out. It may help to remove your
undertray until you figure this out (if you still run it).

If it's towards the back center of the engine, that would point to the
after-run pump. I agree that would be an early failure, but I had a new
factory fuel pump last 15 miles once...so anything is possible.

If it's the rear, drivers side. It's your reservior overflow. That should
be visable on your temp gauge...should be increasing a bit. Also, just
because the fans are working doesn't mean they are providing proper air
flow. Both mine were "working" when I had my issue years ago that's why it
took longer to fix than it should have.

If it's at the front of the engine, center then its probably your main
waterpump. The bearings are going out. Those can go out suddenly too, so be
cautious if this is a possible culprit.

If it's the front of the engine, passengers side, than you may have a bad
o-ring on your thermostat or the t-stat housing has cracked. Hopefully you
have a metal housing.

If it's forward of the engine, check your radiator.

I hope this helps. Those are the main hitters. Good luck.
