When I sold my '91 Coupe Quattro in 2009, kbb said it was worth $5800. I got $5500.
Also advertise it through all the Audi websites and the Audi Quattro Quarterly if you're a member. And if you are. get the word out through the members at your local meetings.
In a few years I plan to put my 2001.5 S4 up for sale. It currently has 46k miles and is in excellent condition.

considering upgrading to a newer/larger S model (maybe S7). I have not
convinced myself to sell, but i wanted to get some feedback before making
the decision.
I am the original owner of an all original, all stock, 2001.5 B5 S4, 68k
miles, black / black leather, all options except nav. I already did the
major service (timing belt, etc), replaced the alternator, rear view
mirror, rotors, pads, and a few sensors, but other than that she has
treated me extremely. Only negative is a rear collision above the bumper
that was all cosmetic, but it was repaired correctly and fully documented.
Probably worth mentioning the center LCD of the gauge cluster needs to be
replaced, but it will be done before I consider selling it. Sound system
has a line in upgrade with bluetooth for the phone (clean install all
hidden)
Overall i would consider it in "good" or "very good" condition.
If i was to sell her (* sob *) what would a fair price be?
