[Biturbos4] So, those Depo replacement headlights are really good!

Mods to move my lenses and bulbs and ballasts over are well documented
online, but if you purchase the H7 version, you will have to Dremel out the
base to mount the ballast.

Pulling the reflector and lens out of the headlight requires you to
separate the two, which isn't so difficult in the Valeos. For the Depos, I
had to drill a hole in the back of the unit to access one of the nuts. Once
the reflector is separated from the lens, I lifted the reflector up towards
the rear opening of the headlight and was able to pull the lens out.
Pulling the reflector is a little more tricky - I had flip it upside down
and make it straddle the support in order to pull it out.

Once all that was done, it was a simple reinstall into the new Depo housing
with my existing hardware. I'm guessing, but not sure, that you could use
this to upgrade reflectors and ballasts, if you so desire.

However, if you don't feel so inclined to mod your new lights, Depo also
sells replacement Ecode lights that come with D2S ballasts as well. My H7
lights were ~$190; the D2S version seems to be ~$250 or so. But I'm already
running 55W DDM ballasts, so I didn't see a reason to downgrade to 35W
ballasts.
