It's pretty easy to fix the lenses when they start to yellow. You just wet
sand them and then polish them out. You can use a headlight polishing kit
(I've used the Meguiars kit in the past, but I'm sure they all work well).
To get the best results the key is to wet sand first. There are a lot of
tutorials out there, I used one from the allroad forum on QW. Figure about
an hour a lens.
After you get the headlights looking like new, go to a tint shop and have
them apply a clear bra over the lenses. This keeps them from yellow out
again. Most people don't do this step, and this is really the trick. If in
a few years the clear bra yellows or gets beat up, you just pull it off and
apply a new bra.
I did one of my cars like this 2 years ago and the lenses still look brand
new. It was the third time I did them, and I finally got smart and did the
clear bra...that made all the difference!! Good luck!
