polishing can work for sure, i just want to avoid ever having to do this
step.  The clear bra ( adhesive clear protective layer) may be the best
option.     What's good, Lamin-x? something else?   Last time i bought
something like this was for my stock setup and that was the now defunct
Stonguard.
