In a "normal" situation, I would agree with the statement below.
But take a look of this pic here:

This is a picture of my engine bay very early into the swap process.
It should give you an idea of where the intercooler -> intake plumbing
goes, and why I would be experiencing
a near overheat condition with a cooling system that isn't working 100% as
it should be.

I figure that going to a larger aftermarket aluminum rad with custom fans
and cowlings will kill several birds with one stone.

  I would be
surprised if the stock radiator is really that
defficient.
