[e//S2] Tstat question

Hey gang, I noticed last night that the radiator is
getting warm shortly after a cold start.  IIRC
before the engine swap it would stay cold until the
engine reaches operating temp and the thermostat
opens.  Can anyone confirm that this is the case with
the turbo motor as well?

A bad Tstat would explain why my oil temp guage stays
much lower than I would expect, and also the poor
gas mileage I'm seeing (16-17 around town, 20-21 on
the freeway).  Motor is stock 3B with a mild chip.
