Peter,
I'm going with OEM S2 springs for now. They're not on yet (waiting for my
bilsteins) but I know they're a lot stiffer than the CQ springs, provided
you get the S2 springs that were meant for a car equipped with A/C which
mine are. They also lower the car by about 30mm. I'll have a better idea of
how they perform once the car is back on the road.
