Are we watching a meltdown before our very eyes? ;-)

JaXeN makes a very good point here. I am also guilty of over-complicating
things sometimes. I have been reading schematics every night until I go to
bed for a couple of weeks now. I'm sure we are sharing the same fitful
dreams about connector numbers and falling, falling, falling into a writhing
mass of wiring, getting caught up in the sticky black tape and being unable
to breathe. Help! Luckily, this past weekend, an Audi technical guru
friend of mine came by and took a look. It was really good to have a second
set of eyes go over what I was doing, because Eric did a good job of
simplifying the process. I was trying to get all of the wiring perfect
first, but Eric insisted on us hooking everything up, even if it looked bad
or if we were going to reroute later, just so that we had a more clear
picture of what we were doing. I admit that it really seemed to help. He
also suggested a similar strategy as JaXeN.
