[e//S2] question about the 7A harness

hey guys, this might sound like a simple question but...

how did you guys deal with the 7A engine harness? I mean did you leave it i=
n? remove it altogether? cut it? take it apart and use only the sections yo=
u need? The reason I ask is that I completely removed mine and started to t=
ake it apart (removing all the black insulating tubing and tape, etc.) thin=
king it would be the easiest thing to do, because i intend on keeping a few=
 of the wires/connectors, such as from the speed sender and back up light s=
witch. however, now i'm kind of regreting doing that. It seems i've made wa=
y more work for myself than is necessary, and i'm stuck with a big hole in =
the firewall. I'm now thinking i would have been better off leaving the who=
le harness in place, cutting off all the connectors that i don't need, and =
"capping" the ends of all the leftover wires. what are your thoughts???
