Jimmy,
While it sounds seriously aggressive, I believe that it will be done.
It doesn't hurt that he has access to a fully equipped shop, has lots of
access to parts and is single, so he can work until 3 AM if he wants.
FWIW, 99% of the work was done by Brendan and Brooks (Brendan's
roommate) and while others donate time and parts to the cause, these two
mechanical engineers have done almost everything. As for money, I
really don't think that it is costing much, as most of the stuff is
fabricated or has been "donated" like the manifolds, intercooler, etc.
The biggest part is the labor, which even at the $.50/hr labor rate for
working on your own car is still very high.

The suspension was originally put on the car 7-8 years ago when it was
still a street car. It is a custom modified Ground Control setup. It
has two piece struts in front and one piece struts in the rear.

The toughest part of the upcoming work will be the brakes. No
combination of standard Audi brakes will fit the car. It has 5kt hubs
in the back, and modified ur S4 hubs in the front. They are going to
make custom brackets to mount the calipers, and probably custom aluminum
hats for the front and maybe rear as well.
