Thanks John,

However, it is my understanding that the stock CQ front brakes will not fit
exactly (ie-spacers required) with the urS4 front hubs. So for those who are
not ready for a break upgrade (me included) this will not work. What makes
the S2 hub conversion appealing is the fact that the S2 used the same brakes
as the CQ, which makes it a much more of a plug and play conversion.

Alright, let's not make this harder than it needs to be.  FOR THE COUPE
QUATTRO the front 5-bolt conversion is quite simply:

1) Purchase a pair (2) of 1992 to 1995.5 Audi S4 hubs new or used.
2) Purchase new Coupe Quattro front wheel bearings (the same part as that
used on the the ur-S4).
3) Remove hub assemblies from the CQ.
4) Press out the 4-bolt coupe quattro hubs.
5) Press out the now destroyed wheel bearings.
6) Press in the new wheel bearings.
7) Press in the ur-S4 hubs.
9) Buy new ur-S4 front rotors and 5x112 wheels.

Assemble.  You now have a Coupe Quattro with 5-bolt front wheels and a
strut/hub assembly that will be able to directly use ANY brake system
designed for the ur-S4.

I tried using the Urs4 front hubs on my '93 quattro and the offset was
wrong..they also did not fit the hub carrier without machining.  The plan
was to use the URs rotors, but I ended up having to drill 5 holes in my
stock 90 rotors. Ick.  Going to investigate the A4 fronts before I spring
for S2 fronts...
