[Es2] Wiring...conceptual question

Hey Peter,

I used a jewellers screwdriver to extract the pins on harnesses connecting
to the main relay/fuse panel under the hood.

In the footwell, I used buttsplices and quick connects.

Those Audi pin connectors (female) aren't cheap, and nobody else seemed to
have them except
for my local dealer.

IMHO, that's the harder, messier way.

If my memory serves me correctly, all of the IC connections run down to
the T10/T5 connectors under
the relay panel in the drivers footwell. (T10a and T5a BLACK if I'm not
mistaken)

I made all of my connections/splices there... Much more wire to cut, and
keeps it looking more "factory".

heh... not like anyone's gonna see it. :-p

So you gents are splicing wires ( cutting/soldering/crimping) ?

Anyone using a pin extractor?
