[Es2] Lowered springs bottoming out?

Has anyone with lowered springs eg H&Rs experienced premature upper
bearing wear?  Both my upper bearings are really shot and aren't that
old, maybe 2000 miles.  One theory is the reduced travel means they are
bottoming, and the full force of a pothole gets transferred to the upper
perch.  Only problem with the theory is I haven't heard anyone else
express this problem?
