[Es2] More info on the sport quattro fan

"The sport quattro fan is indeed 700 watts. It is the same as the one fitted to a audi 100 2.0 TD (82-91).

It is a 3 stage fan and has three relays to control it. Stage 1 and 2 are controlled by standard 30A relays (141 951 253 B) and the 3rd stage is controlled by a 50A relay (8D0 951 253). 

The connector on the back is 3 pin (443 959 840)

You'll need to seriously uprate the wiring though. And watch out for it sucking things through the grille when it comes on to full power.
