No, I really haven't.  When the car was completed I got an "agreed
value" insurance policy, where I supported a value of $30K using
receipts etc.  But they don't keep that value year to year, they
depreciate it just like a new car, so now six years later I'm well below
market value again.  Try for an agreed value policy in your state, and
see what they require.  A starting point would be a proposal from 2B
containing estimates for what they would charge for the work you did...
