One further option would be to modify the AAN intake manifold to put the
throttle body in front of the radiator, a la MTM and Wagner Tuning
manifolds. Why not modify the manifold to fit in the car, instead of
modifying the car to fit the manifold. He will need to cut the S2
harness on the engine side to lengthen the wires for the TPS, ISV and
IAT sensor anyway to work on the AAN, so why not put it out a little
farther.
