Mike,
Making a turbo decision is one of the hardest things to do because there are
so many different ways to go. I am on my fifth try and I finally found one
that works very well for what I was looking for. Basically since you live in
Colorado your even more limited with the altitude. If you are looking for
something that gets full boost at altitude before say 3500 rpm look for something
similar to the RS2 turbo. Here is a guy that built my turbo for me and really
knows his stuff. Its way cheaper to have him build you something than to go find
a used RS2 turbo. Just tell him what your looking for out of the turbo and he
will figure one out for you. In my case I went with a K27 7200 #6 clipped at
15 degrees on the turbin side. This turbo is great and gives me full boost at
26lbs by 3800 rpms and holds 21lbs to 7000rpms but I live at sea level so I
don't think it would work very well up high. Good luck. Here is the info for
Evergreen Turbo.
