Hello everyone.
I'm considering buying this bumper mold (look below). Is there anyone interested in co-purchasing this mold with me? I live in bristol, RI. The america's cup boats, ciggerette boats, shelby cobra fiber glass cars, carbon fiber cars, etc.. Are all built here in my town. It's tempting to purchase this mold. I'm not necessarily interested in selling the bumpers specifically to other enthusiats. I was considering I would make bumpers when necessary after I've built a car to sell to the "public". If anyone was interested in this mold for selling bumpers to people. I wouldn't mind working something out with them. I'm not really interested in packing these things and getting them shipped out. Honestly I have two bumpers sitting in my basement that I was going to possibly make a mold off of in the future. The price that I was given to make a mold off the bumpers I own was cheaper than the one that andrew is asking for his mold. If I don't bite on this mold. I figured I give the opportunity to anyone of you guys to source this mold. Honestly it would take a big chunk of the money I have saved to buy the miller welder and I'm not sure if it's that swell of an idea right now in my life. Needless to say I have the back up of the bumpers in my basement.
However Options are a plenty in this world. I wanted to point them out. I suspect I could have them made in carbon fiber, kevlar, abs plastic, or fiber glass. Prices.. I have no clue. I did talk to a company about this particular subject. However at the time the money investment was a little out side my reaches.
Happy holidays.
Josh
